This gentle 30 minute class provides a useful way to stretch the body at home without the need of any yoga equipment or previous experience. The class is designed for all levels of ability and encourages breath-awareness whilst moving the body. It can be taken first thing in the morning or after a long day sitting in your home office and offers an easy to remember sequence that can be taken time and time again.
Nicole is an experienced event professional who spent most of her career working for associations that run medical events. She joined the National Cancer Research Institute in 2015 as Head of Conference and Events, where she provides leadership and direction for the strategic development of their events, whilst overseeing operational delivery.
Nicole has a degree in PR and Advertising with an MA in Event Management and a postgraduate certificate in Business Finance and Management. After a brief spell as a graphic designer, Nicole worked as a marketing manager for a fashion company in her native Italy, near Milan.
She previously worked as an event planner for the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK and various other clients including well-known educational institutions and hospitality establishments. She then joined the Royal Society of Medicine, where she worked for over seven years and was responsible for leading and coordinating the strategic planning function and day-to-day operations of an event team of 30.
Nicole is a full member of the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) and was elected joint-chair in 2014. She has collaborated on a consultancy basis with many organisations on all things events and is often invited to speak at industry gatherings. She has been a guest lecturer at many university courses on event management on topics such as budget management, event profitability, committee management, marketing plans, strategic development and well-being at work.
She is passionate about health and well-being, stress management and holistic practices. Nicole is also a qualified yoga teacher and nutritional therapist, and runs her own consultancy business Nicole Does Wellness, delivering lectures, wellness plans and practical sessions for individuals and corporate clients.
