Sustainability has become synonymous with fighting climate change and the environment, but that’s just part of it.  There is a huge relationship between Health & Wellbeing (Sustainable Development Goal #3) and creating a more sustainable way of living.

Event management is classified as the 5th most stressful job, if you combine that with the current pandemic it’s more important than ever to look after not only your delegates, but your crew and yourself too.  So how can you incorporate wellbeing into your next event?  Join Danielle Ward, from Reward Events, for some top tips, as she explores the role of wellbeing in driving a sustainable event industry.

After working in the events industry for 10 years Danielle had become increasingly frustrated with the excessive amounts of single use items and waste that was being created.  This inspired her to set up her own sustainable event management company – Reward Events.

Reward is all about reflecting on the event management process and looking at how we should be doing things differently. What can you repurpose? What should you refuse to use?  How can you re-imagine your event to consider all of the impacts?  In line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, Reward specialises in creating memorable experiences with purpose and style, that reduce the negative impacts on the environment and drive positive social change.
