Event Wellbeing Day 2021 #EWD21
“Rising Strong”
Wednesday 3rd March
Rising strong as this year’s #EventWell21 theme describes the process of bouncing back, and when implemented in your own life, as a team, or as a company, it can help you to embrace setbacks as part of life, deal with emotions, confront your own ideas and rise stronger every time.
After a turbulent 12 months for the event industry and with a looming mental health crisis, there has never been a more important time to come together as an industry to build understanding and resilience, and #EventWell21 is the perfect platform to do exactly that.
There are so many ways for you to get involved. Make sure you check out the fantastic Virtual Wellbeing Festival programme below, and also take a look at our NEW PositiviTEA fundraiser, or maybe organise your own events and/or fundraisers and then share on social media using the hashtags #EventWell21 #EWD21. You can also make a donation to support EventWell and sign the EventWell Manifesto.

Other ways to get involved
PositiviTEA is our NEW annual fundraiser and an opportunity for you to do something positive for your own mental health and wellbeing with your colleagues and friends on International Event Wellbeing Day.
The event, exhibitions, hospitality, and travel industry has been devastated over the last 12 months with many professionals now experiencing tremendous hardship due to redundancy, furlough, business closure, unemployment or experience of trauma. EventWell is here to support anyone in events, exhibitions, hospitality and travel struggling with their health and wellbeing and you can help make a difference! Even a small amount will go a long way to supporting your peers and industry professionals with their mental health, so that they know their industry stands with them and is here for them. For every pound you donate 80p supports event professionals with their mental health and wellbeing. Thank You!
EventWell is calling for an ‘Event Industry’ where the mental health of ALL its creative, experiential, event, hospitality and travel professionals is supported and protected. An event industry where wellbeing is at the heart of every event, every trip, every experience and every business, in line with our vision “To make tangible change to the Event Industry’s relationship with wellbeing”. Will you be a part of this commitment and sign our manifesto?
