Having worked as a community fundraiser in the charity sector previously, I know a thing or 10 about the pressure of working in events! Long, unsociable hours, juggling many roles, eating on the go…I’ve had my fair share of service station ‘grab and go’ lunches, hours without eating, reaching for the sweet stuff just to get through. I absolutely didn’t recognise the importance of good nutrition and looking after my wellbeing. The consequence? I was burnt-out and my health was suffering; my trigger to realise that I needed to make a change to the way I looked after myself (it shouldn’t have been, and I hope that’s where I can help you!). I started to make changes to my diet/lifestyle and as a result, my health improved, drastically. Fast forward 6 years and here I am! I am a BANT registered Nutritionist and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, meaning I work with client’s on both a 1-1 basis and also in the community.
