Janthea is Founder and C.E.O of Nipperbout Ltd - a unique, award-winning company providing expert childcare at conferences and events, nationally and in Europe.  She likes to think of herself as an ‘Ambassador for children at events’ and has an armful of solutions to help organisers create safe, enjoyable, anxiety-free environments for children and families.

28 years providing high-quality temporary childcare at the major UK and European venues, (coupled with insane levels of inspection by Ofsted!) has given her the expertise to spot risks, enhance, 'tweak' and problem solve and the skill to deflect those 'unexpected curved balls’!

Janthea has contributed to the guidelines on crèches in the Association of Venue’s  ‘E guide’ and the Festival “Purple Guide’ and more recently the ‘Little Green Book of Big Ideas’ for the Ops Nest.  She is an expert on ‘safeguarding at events’ and ‘lost child procedure’, and frequently sits on Safety Advisory Group meetings as a consultant for event organisers.  She also writes and delivers CPD accredited training courses in subjects relating to children.

An Early Years professional, Janthea has a passion for neuroscience and is a childcare advocate for ‘be curious rather than furious’.  She created the ‘Nipper Cards”, affirmation cards that encourage children to talk about their feelings through play.
