Our crowdfunding campaign, part of the NatWest Back her Business competition with Crowdfunder, aims to raise a minimum of £1,000 to support the EventWell Manifesto, the EventWell20 campaigns; Event Wellbeing Day and Event Wellbeing Week, and the one in three event professionals who will experience mental ill health each year.
Back Her Business gives everyone the chance to back women-led businesses through crowdfunded donations.
What’s more, through Back Her Business, NatWest will be awarding additional funds in grants to successful projects – we are in with a chance of receiving NatWest top-up funding up to 50% of the overall fundraising target up to a maximum of £5,000.
How will EventWell use your donations?
Your money and donations will go towards the overall campaign management and contract services, travel and expenses, marketing and communications, social media advertising, and the design of print materials that will enable us to reach as many professionals and businesses within the event industry as we can.
It will also enable us to kick start the #EventWell20 legacy project and education programme ‘EventWell Illuminate #EWIlluminate‘ – providing free education and lectures to event management students, apprentices and undergraduates on the importance of self-care and building resilience in events, as the new and emerging talent entering the industry.
You will support us in reaching new audiences across the UK, to ensure that our messaging is impactful and helps us to achieve our campaign aims and objectives of improving the mental health and wellbeing of all professionals working in the event industry.
