EventWell is recruiting for a new board of trustees, led by a Chair and Vice Chair.
As a Trustee, or as our Chair, your role will be to ensure that as a social enterprise we stay true to our mission, vision, and values.
Our board should be entrepreneurial and combine imagination with vision, bold thinking and measured risk taking.
You will support us in building our community focussed organisation to meet the wellbeing and mental health needs of the event industry, and the event professionals and creatives that we support and serve.
You will support and assist the CEO with ideas and strategy to grow and diversify EventWell as a social enterprise, and we are looking for a board that is not only dynamic but one that can challenge, motivate and uplift meeting by meeting.
Board of Trustees Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure EventWell is carrying out its purposes for the community benefit
- Comply with EventWell’s governing document and the law
- Act in EventWell’s best interests
- Manage EventWell’s resources well
- Act with reasonable care and skill
- Ensure EventWell is accountable
You time on the board will be for a period of two years on a voluntary basis (with the option to extend), and you will be required to attend a minimum of 4 out of 6 bi-monthly board meetings, and any committee meetings set up as required by the business.
