EventWell

The Voice that shouts about Mental Health & Wellbeing in the Event Industry

WHO ARE WE?

We’re the Event Industry’s ‘first and only’ charitable social enterprise and dedicated resource for health and wellbeing advice, knowledge and support.

WHAT ARE OUR CHARITABLE AIMS?

“To make tangible change to the Event Industry’s relationship with wellbeing”

HOW WILL WE DO THIS?

With the industry – to encourage understanding and #Empathy

Working in partnership with event industry associations, trade shows and educators, to deliver mental health speaker sessions and masterclasses that create better understanding, challenge stigma, and encourage open conversations on wellbeing and mental health in the events industry

With organisations – to inspire positive teamwork and #Culture

Working in partnership with event industry businesses and organisations to deliver positive workplace wellbeing programmes, and in-house team forums that encourage open conversations on wellbeing and mental health in the workplace and the support available

With individuals – to change attitudes to #Selfcare

Working with and training individuals in self-care, healthy lifestyle, essential life skills, and mental health first aid, in addition to providing confidential support and a ‘go to’ wellbeing and mental health resource

Not forgetting that we are the founders and leaders of Event Wellbeing Week in September, and NEW for 2020 Event Wellbeing Day in February

Eventwell.org is a charitable social enterprise dedicated to the events industry and unlike other larger charitable organisations we do not rely on major donors or sponsors.

We believe that as a vital resource for the industry we should remain open and accessible and not be steered, therefore, we rely solely on the revenue we generate from our website, new event series and generous donations that are made to fund the essential educational service we provide for all professionals in events.

You can support this service from as little as £5 and every penny helps.

Our Mental Health Charity partner for 2019 is Mind. 10% of your donation will be forwarded to Mind to support the vital work they are doing to ensure every person with a mental health problem or illness gets the support and respect that they deserve.
