Neuroinclusion, Built Into Event Design.

Research-Led. Safeguarding-Led. Designed for Live Event Environments.

EventWell® delivers evidence-based neuroinclusive provision informed by our 2022 lived-experience research and five years of supervised delivery across live events.

We embed training, supervised and regulated calm spaces, and safeguarding frameworks into your event structure – creating environments that are safe, predictable and accessible by design.

A Practical Framework for Safer Events

Inclusion Fails When Overwhelm Is Ignored.

We design neuroinclusive event support that prevents escalation and protects access – combining training, calm environments and safeguarding standards into one coherent framework.

The Problem & Why It Matters

Events are designed to bring people together.

Yet for many neurodivergent individuals – and those managing anxiety, trauma or burnout – live event environments can feel overwhelming, unpredictable and unsafe.

In 2022, EventWell® conducted independent research into neurodivergent participation within live event environments.

The findings were clear:

• 85% had actively avoided events due to fear of overwhelm
• 88% felt organisers did not sufficiently understand their needs
• Only 15% would feel confident asking for support
• 55% ranked supervised host presence as the most important quiet room feature

This is not simply an accessibility gap.

It is a confidence and psychological safety gap.

Our frameworks, supervision model and safeguarding standards are built directly from this evidence.

If we want genuinely inclusive events, we must design for regulation, trust and accountability – not just engagement

This is how it all started…

I’ve worked in the events industry for nearly 30 years. I’ve seen it at its best – creativity, connection and community – and I’ve also experienced the pressure, intensity and toll it can take behind the scenes.

I struggled with my own mental health from my late teens, managing it quietly while building my career in events. In 2017, after identifying a clear need for an industry-leading organisation focused on mental health and wellbeing in events, I founded and incorporated EventWell as a social enterprise.

In September 2021, our first on-site mental health first aiders and professionally supervised quiet room went live at an event, and that moment shifted everything – moving from conversation to operational change.

In 2022, I received my AuDHD and Dyslexia diagnoses. That brought a very personal and deeper understanding of why events can be both extraordinary and overwhelming – and why inclusive, regulation-led design is not a luxury, but a necessity.

Today, EventWell is a multi award winning neurodivergent-led organisation, supported by a passionate team committed to changing how events are designed and delivered.

This work is personal.
It’s professional.
And it’s about building a better industry for the next generation.
