Our EventWell® Hosts are highly skilled in creating a supportive environment and offering essential assistance whenever needed.

A SAFE PERSON, FRIENDLY FACE & LISTENING EAR

An essential event welfare element incorporating safety, supervision and safeguarding, our EventWell® Host service offers:

  • Offer welcome and hospitality to make sure people are comfortable
  • Recognise when a person is anxious or overwhelmed and in need of support, and offer immediate assistance and reassurance
  • Ensure that any quiet and resilience space remains quiet, and politely ask people to refrain from doing anything to disrupt this (such as making phone/video calls or holding meetings)
  • Keep the area clean and tidy and ensure that everything is topped up, refreshed and working

Safeguarding best practice and guidance advises that vulnerable adults and children should be protected, and that any event space dedicated to support, accessibility, welfare or wellbeing should not be left unsupervised. Professional training and awareness is also an essential consideration.

Our EventWell® Hosts, fully trained in mental health first aid, neurodiversity awareness and safeguarding, will support and help your attendees feel comfortable and at ease. We are also in a position to negotiate with any local statutory agencies and safeguarding teams where necessary.

Rays of Sunshine Charity

“Having a wellness programme at our event was a completely new initiative for us, Helen was a pleasure to work with, flexible and made a wonderful calming space for delegates to retreat to both in the Quiet Room and Wellbeing Bar. Helen also kept me topped up with decaf oak-milk tea throughout which as an event-organiser, with limited time to stop, was perfect!”
