EventWell is the UK’s leading neurodivergent-led social enterprise supporting calmer, safer and more accessible events through our SensoryCalm™ Quiet Rooms, SensoryGarden™, SensorySnug™, wellbeing sessions and on-site support teams.
We’re looking for practical, reliable, physically confident Crew Members to help us set up, operate, maintain and pack down our sensory and wellbeing spaces at events, exhibitions and festivals around the UK.
This is hands-on work where you’ll be part of the team that makes these calm, supportive spaces possible.
What the role involves
As an EventWell Crew Member, you’ll support tasks such as:
- Setting up and taking down SensoryCalm™ tents, gazebos and equipment
- Helping our Hosts create welcoming, accessible, tidy spaces
- Moving sensory kit, furniture, lighting and signage
- Supporting the EventWell Hosts to keep everything running smoothly on site
- Working safely, following all EventWell operational and site procedures
No two events are the same, you might be at a festival one week and a conference the next, but your mission is always to help us create calm in chaotic environments.
Who this role is perfect for
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- Practical and hands-on
- Physically comfortable with lifting, carrying and setting up equipment
- A team player who communicates clearly and reliably
- Calm and solution-focused, even when plans change (as they always do in events!)
- Punctual, organised and good at following instructions
- Happy working early mornings, late finishes and the occasional long day
You do not need prior events experience, though it’s a bonus. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
This role is also brilliant for:
- Event management students building real industry experience
- People looking to step into the events world through a supportive, values-led team
- Anyone who enjoys working outdoors, on their feet, and as part of a tight-knit team
Pay & Location
- £15/hour – London
- £13.50/hour – Rest of UK
Travel expenses and accommodation are provided where required, depending on the event.
Training & Support
All Crew Members receive:
- Full induction and safety training
- Step-by-step guidance on pitching/packing and kit handling
- Clear briefings before every event
- Support from our Operations Team throughout your shift
You’ll also get opportunities to learn more about neuroinclusive event design and wellbeing support if you’d like to progress into an EventWell Host or Operations role.
