EventWell is looking for a Grant Funding Coordinator to help us identify and apply for funding that supports our social impact work.
This is a small freelance role supporting the research and coordination of grant funding opportunities that help us grow our social impact and community projects.
The role is ideal for someone interested in the VCSE sector who enjoys research, organisation and supporting meaningful projects.

EventWell is a UK not-for-profit and charitable social enterprise leading the way in neuroinclusive and wellbeing-led events.
We design and deliver sensory-safe spaces, mental health first aid support and calm environments at conferences, exhibitions and festivals across the UK.
Our work is focused on making events more accessible for neurodivergent individuals and anyone experiencing overwhelm, anxiety or sensory overload.

Role Overview
The Grant Funding Coordinator will support the research, preparation and administration of grant funding opportunities that align with EventWell’s mission and programmes.
Working closely with the EventWell leadership team, the role will help identify suitable funding opportunities and support the preparation of applications.
This is a part-time freelance role of approximately 4 hours per week with flexible working.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Research
- Research grant opportunities from trusts, foundations and public funding bodies
- Identify funding aligned with EventWell’s work in neurodiversity, mental health and community wellbeing
- Maintain a simple funding opportunity tracker with deadlines and requirements
Application Preparation
- Assist in drafting sections of grant applications
- Prepare supporting documentation and organisational information
- Coordinate information required for submissions
Grant Administration
- Track grant deadlines and submission dates
- Maintain a simple grant pipeline record
- Record outcomes and feedback from applications
General Support
- Flag suitable funding opportunities to the EventWell team
- Support organisation of information required for reporting where grants are awarded
What Success Looks Like
In this role we would expect to see:
- A clear and organised grant opportunity tracker
- Identification of relevant funding opportunities aligned with EventWell’s work
- Preparation of 1–2 grant applications per month where appropriate
- Strong organisation of deadlines and application materials
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Strong organisational and research skills
- Good written communication
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Desirable
- Experience with grant applications or charity fundraising
- Interest in neurodiversity, mental health or social impact
- Experience working with charities, CICs or social enterprises

Hours: Approx. 4 hours per week (flexible)
Rate: £18–£20 per hour
Location: Remote
Contract: Freelance / Self-Employed (Outside IR35)
