Training Built from Lived Experience. Grounded in Professional Practice. Designed for Real Events.
Neuroinclusion, mental health and wellbeing training created by event professionals, for event professionals.
At EventWell®, we believe that meaningful inclusion begins with understanding, but real change happens when that understanding becomes action.
Welcome to EventWell Academy, our dedicated training and education platform, bringing together lived experience, professional expertise and 30 years of experience working across the UK events industry.
Our training isn’t simply about understanding neurodivergence or recognising mental health challenges. It’s about knowing how to respond, how to support people safely and how to create event environments where everyone has a better opportunity to feel comfortable, included and understood.
Developed by a neurodivergent led social enterprise with extensive experience delivering professional event wellbeing and support services, our courses reflect the realities of working in busy, unpredictable and often demanding event environments.
Real experience. Practical knowledge. Meaningful change.

Why Train with EventWell Academy?
We’ve Been There. We Understand the Environment. We Know What Works.
EventWell Academy brings together three essential perspectives that shape everything we teach.
Lived Experience
Our NeuroAware™ training has been developed through the lens of lived neurodivergent experience.
We understand that neurodivergence is not simply about how someone thinks, learns or processes information. It’s also about how their nervous system experiences and responds to the environment around them.
Noise, crowds, lighting, uncertainty, communication, transitions and social expectations can all influence someone’s experience of an event.
Our training moves beyond stereotypes and assumptions, helping event professionals understand that every neurodivergent person is different and that inclusion cannot be achieved through a single approach.
Professional Experience
Our Mental & Neuro Health First Aid training draws on EventWell’s direct professional experience supporting people experiencing distress, overwhelm, anxiety, panic and other mental health or neuro health challenges within live event environments.
This includes supporting both neurodivergent and neurotypical attendees, recognising that anyone can experience difficulties with their mental health, emotional wellbeing or nervous system regulation.
We understand what it means to support someone in distress while working within the operational realities of an event.
Our training focuses on practical, compassionate responses, professional boundaries, safeguarding, escalation and knowing when additional support is required.
Events Industry Experience
With 30 years of experience across the UK events industry, EventWell understands that supporting attendees doesn’t happen in isolation.
It happens alongside event operations, crowd management, security, medical provision, safeguarding, customer services, production schedules and the pressures of live delivery.
We’ve worked across festivals, exhibitions, conferences, conventions, sporting events and live experiences.
That means our training is grounded in the real environments, operational challenges and situations event professionals encounter every day.
We don’t just teach people what inclusion should look like. We help them understand how to deliver it.
